Bromus ramosus aka Hairy Brome

Bromus ramosus, or hairy brome, is a perennial grass. It belongs to the grass family, Poaceae. Kew gives its native range as Europe to Iran, and Tibet to the Indian subcontinent. The RHS also records a range reaching North Africa. It is native to Britain and Ireland. Woods and hedges are among its habitats. In gardens, it suits woodland settings and the shade beneath hedges.
