Lampranthus aka Lampranthus

Lampranthus is a genus of succulent plants in the family Aizoaceae, native to southern Africa. This tender, mat-forming perennial succulent can grow up to Xcm tall and features small, grey-green leaves. In the summer, it produces daisy-like flowers with yellow centers in abundance. It is an excellent choice for a succulent rockery or as a ground cover in a shady area. This particular species of vygie stands out due to its conspicuous seed compartments. Unlike other succulents, it can tolerate slightly more water and thrives when potted in a container, displaying a freely branching, sub-shrub habit. Additionally, it showcases masses of pale pink blooms during the summer season.
