Arthrostemma is a small genus of flowering plants in the family Melastomataceae, which belongs to the order Myrtales. The genus is native to Mexico and Tropical America, ranging through Central America and into South America. Like other members of Melastomataceae, species of Arthrostemma are typically herbaceous or subshrubby plants with the characteristic opposite leaves and showy flowers that are common across the family. The genus includes around five accepted species, among them Arthrostemma ciliatum and Arthrostemma parvifolium.
