Osmanthus decorus

Osmanthus decorus is an evergreen shrub in the olive family, Oleaceae. Its native range runs from northeastern Turkey into western Transcaucasia. Plants For A Future also lists Armenia and Georgia. It grows in a temperate climate and occurs in mixed forests. In Turkey, these include woods with beech and spruce. It also grows along gorge sides in that country. Its recorded habitat lies at 3,280–5,250 feet [1,000–1,600 metres] above sea level.

This shrub forms a dense, rounded mass of growth. Its dark green leaves are oval and feel leathery. They stay on the plant through winter. The RHS describes a height near 10 feet [3 metres].
