Growing up to 1.3m tall, this heavily branched plant features hairy, pale green, heart-shaped leaves that emit a delightful fruity scent when brushed or crushed. Its large magenta-pink flowers, reaching up to 5cm in length, are surrounded by a lime-green calyx. The entire plant is covered in hairs that release a pineapple-grapefruit fragrance. This species, first described in 1950, has gained popularity as a greenhouse plant.
